Despite the fact that a sizable amount of social networking is accomplished through digital pursuits – mass emails, newsletters, posts like this, webinars and conference calls – the truth persists that the most tangible, productive networking is done face to face. That is why organizations such as ASHRAE (The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) play such an important role in connecting experts in relevant fields.

That is why CANNEPP has remained a committed member of ASHRAE for several years, and in February of this year, CANNEPP President Nick Eaden accepted an award for recognition as a vital and valued contributor to the advancement of ASHRAE’s research promotion.

CANNEPP will also be in attendance and participating at ASHRAE’s May 10th, 2017 dinner meeting and student night at the Italian Cultural Center, as well as sponsoring a hole at their annual golf tournament on May 30th, 2017 at Swan-e-set course in Pitt Meadows, B.C.
